Weather and conditions at kickoff are sourced from Open-Meteo, which aggregates open data from national weather services under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). Changes have been made: we select the single hour matching a match's kickoff, convert units, and derive a human-readable condition from the WMO weather code.

Boxing fighter profiles — names, nationality, physical stats, weight class, and Wikidata/BoxRec cross-reference ids — are sourced from Wikidata, released under the Creative Commons CC0 1.0 Public Domain Dedication. CC0 requires no attribution; we credit Wikidata as a courtesy.

Cricket match results and batting/bowling scorecards are provided by Cricsheet, made available under the Open Data Commons Attribution License v1.0 (ODC-BY 1.0). You must attribute any public use of this data, and make clear to others the license of the dataset.

WikipediaLiveCC BY-SA 4.0

Cricket forward fixtures — upcoming international tours, their dates, venues and formats — are compiled from season articles on English Wikipedia, read through the MediaWiki API. Wikipedia text is available under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License. We extract facts — a fixture’s date, the two sides, and the venue — rather than article text, and we credit Wikipedia here regardless of whether attribution is strictly required of a factual compilation. Cricket match results and scorecards come from Cricsheet, above; Wikipedia is our source for the schedule ahead.

College football forward fixtures — FBS and FCS, for the season ahead — are compiled the same way, from each team’s season article (for example 2026 Alabama Crimson Tide football team), under the same CC BY-SA 4.0 licence. Every fixture is listed on both teams’ articles, and we read both: a schedule we serve has been agreed by two independently edited pages, or it is marked as resting on one. Each row records the article and the revision it was derived from.

NHL expected-goals figures — skater and goalie season summaries, including the goals-saved-above-expected numbers behind our goalie depth charts — are computed by MoneyPuck.com, whose terms ask that anyone displaying results derived from their data clearly credit MoneyPuck.com. We do so here and on every surface that serves those figures.

Unlike the other sources on this page, this credit is not a licence. MoneyPuck offers its data for non-commercial use and invites anyone with another purpose to get in touch; we have asked for permission covering our commercial use and this note will be updated with whatever answer we get. The expected-goals model is MoneyPuck’s own work, not a set of public facts, and we do not represent it as ours.
