Simple pricing. Start free.

Every plan returns the same unified schema, every field carries confidence, and every sport we cover sits behind one key. What changes as you move up is volume — and what the API can answer.

10,000
1
3 sports

10,000 upstream requests/day after your own caching. For per-sport products, the model distributes that traffic evenly across selected sports.

Big Balls Sports Data

$49/mo

Trio plan · up to 3 selected sports

BallDontLie

$0

3 × Free

BallDontLie's raw feed costs $49 less

Here's what that $49/mo doesn't include:

  • Our pre-assembled matchup response shape
  • Our exact Elo, ATS, and value-prop model outputs
  • One response schema shared by every supported sport

Comparison basis

Both prices use the same 10,000 upstream requests/day. Extra BallDontLie endpoint calls are not added because the exact fan-out depends on what you build.

Raw BallDontLie pricing covers the data subscription only. The assembly layer, intelligence features, and cross-sport unification are engineering time you build and maintain.

BallDontLie price = raw data subscription only. Assembly layer, intelligence features, and cross-sport unification are not included at any tier. Pricing verified 2026-10-04. Priced per sport, rate-limited per minute. Each sport is a separate subscription. View the official source.

Frequently asked

How do rate limits work?

Two buckets: per-minute (sliding window) + per-day (UTC fixed window). Every response carries X-RateLimit-Remaining; 429 responses include a Retry-After header.

Can I downgrade or cancel anytime?

Yes, manage your plan from the dashboard or the Stripe Customer Portal. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.

What counts as one request?

One HTTP request to any /v1/* endpoint. Fields inside a response don't count separately. Events received over the WebSocket feed do NOT count against your rate limit.

What if I exceed my plan?

The gateway returns 429. You can upgrade instantly, new limits apply immediately.
