Acceptance
By creating an API key or using any Big Balls Sports Data endpoint you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
The service
Big Balls Sports Data provides a REST + WebSocket API for sports data, scores, odds, lineups, statistics, and related events across the leagues listed on our homepage. The service is offered with a free tier and one or more paid tiers; see the pricing page for current rates.
Acceptable use
You may build products and services on top of the API. You may not: resell the raw data feed, attempt to bypass rate limits or authentication, share your API key with third parties, use the service to target users without their consent, or operate in a way that materially degrades service for other customers.
Rate limits and fair use
Each API key carries documented per-minute and per-day quotas. Exceeding them triggers HTTP 429 responses; sustained abuse may result in throttling or termination. We may adjust quotas with reasonable notice.
Termination
You may cancel your account at any time from the dashboard. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Paid plans are billed monthly; refunds for partial months are handled case-by-case.
Warranty and liability
The service is provided "as is". We don't warrant that the data is complete, accurate, or available without interruption. Upstream sources can degrade or fail; our confidence-scoring metadata is the canonical signal of data quality on any given response. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months prior.
Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced on the changelog and via the email address on your account at least 30 days before they take effect.
